SPECIAL NOTE: Tubing area fees are $10 one hour, $14 two hours midweek; $12 one hour, $16 two hours weekends. Children must be at least 5 years old.
Directions: From Washington the trip takes about 90 minutes. Take Interstate 270 north to I-70 west, Exit 18 (Route 68). Go through the traffic light in Clear Spring, Md. Follow the snowflake and Whitetail signs seven miles to the slopes.
Snowboarding: Allowed on all trails, plus a terrain park.
