Newark Liberty International's main arrival runway, which has been closed for three weeks for "state of good repair" construction, is open for business. The repaved runway now sports new perimeter lighting, an upgrade that occurs every decade or so . . . This fall, travelers at Austin-Bergstrom International will "Discover Austin's Museums" while walking the concourse by gates 7 through 12. Works from the Austin Museum of Art and nine other city cultural institutions will be on view through Nov. 29 . . . Light-rail service is on track to arrive at Minneapolis-St. Paul International on Dec. 4, a month ahead of schedule. The 12-mile Metro Transit-operated Hiawatha line will connect the Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals (as well as the Mall of America) to downtown Minneapolis. Riding between the airport terminals will be free; a trip to downtown will run $1.25 off-peak and $1.75 during rush hour.
