SLOPES: 34 slopes and trails, a 1,072-foot vertical drop and long run of 10,400 feet.

COST: Adults $30 weekdays, $40 weekends and holidays, $20 weekday nights, $21 weekend and holiday nights; ages 12 and younger $23 weekdays, $30 weekends and $15 weekday nights, $18 weekend and holiday nights.

SPECIAL NOTE: The resort has three tubing chutes; two-hour sessions are $12 weekends, $10 weekdays. There is also a new terrain park this year.

Directions: From Washington the drive takes about two-and-a-half hours. Take Interstate 270 north to I-70 west. Then take I-99 (Route 220) north to Osterburg and then Route 869 west to Pavia.
