Cpl. Brian Oliveira, 22, of Raynham, Mass.; 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Pendleton, Calif. Died Oct. 25 of injuries received in combat in Anbar province.

Sgt. Dennis J. Boles, 46, of Homosassa, Fla.; Army National Guard 171st Aviation Battalion, based in Brooksville, Fla. Died Oct. 24 in a noncombat incident at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

Total fatalities include three civilian employees of the Defense Department.
