. . . Tested the Breadth of Your Knowledge

Sunday, January 2, 2005; Page C02

. . . tested the breadth of your knowledge. Quick: If you have a lot of facts floating around in your noggin and want a chance to show off a bit, where do you go? For those with a love of trivia, the right answer may be a quiz night at one of the area's bars, such as The Pour House and Fado Irish Pub. Work by yourself or with a team. The winners of these contests snag prizes, including paid bar tabs. And you don't have to test yourself only on National Trivia Day (Jan. 4 -- but you knew that already, didn't you?); these nights happen year-round.

At Fado in Penn Quarter, a Monday night trivia game for those really in the know could earn you gift certificates and souvenirs from the Irish pub. (Tyler Mallory For The Washington Post)
