Baseball

Expos and New Stadiums

Thomas Heath
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, September 23, 2004; 10:00 AM

Major League Baseball's baseball's executive committee will meet in Milwaukee and is expected to discuss the future of the Montreal Expos, who have been looking for a home since the league took control of them three years ago. Baseball's own relocation committee, headed by White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf, is expected to recommend the team move to RFK Stadium as D.C. officials finalize a financing plan for a new stadium.

Post staff writer Thomas Heath will be online Thursday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. ET to talk about the possibility of baseball coming to the D.C. metropolitan area -- the Expos and plans for building stadiums.
