. . . swung downtown for a cup of joe. Since opening in 1916, M.E. Swing Coffee Roasters has had four D.C. locations -- but only one at a time. Classic taste like this you can't find on every corner. Even now, the shop is filled with the same mahogany and mirrored fixtures that graced its longtime home on E Street NW. Some folks have lost track of M.E. Swing, especially after its last move, in 1994, but it's still here, still brewing the kind of coffee that's worth the trip.
