The caption with an April 10 article on the cardinals who are choosing a new pope incorrectly identified Cardinal Justin Rigali, archbishop of Philadelphia, as Cardinal Francis George. Detail from the photo is reprinted here with a correct caption.

An Associated Press item in the April 11 Metro in Brief column incorrectly said that a propane smoker was being blamed for a house fire in Fairfax County. It was a smoker fueled by natural gas.

An April 11 television preview in Style incorrectly said the northern end of the Appalachian mountain range is in New York. The range extends into Canada.

An April 10 Business article on tax preparers incorrectly said Visa users are liable for up to $50 in fraudulent transactions on the Visa debit-card network. Consumers have no liability for such transactions.

The Fast Forward column in the April 10 Business section misidentified an Oregon Scientific digital camera tested with Apple's iPod Photo. The camera was the ThinCam DS6628.

The April 10 Sunday Source listing for a Whole Foods Market class on gourmet finger foods to be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. gave the wrong store location for the event. The class is at the store at 4530 40th St. NW in the District, and the phone number for reservations is 202-237-5800.

The April 8 Diplomatic Dispatches column incorrectly described Robert B. Zoellick as the national security adviser. He is deputy secretary of state.

The April 8 Weekend review of the movie "Fever Pitch" incorrectly described the Nick Hornby memoir of the same name as a novel.
