The funny signs just keep coming.
At left is a sign spotted by Suzanne Raileanu and her son, Jeff, of Charlottesville, while they were visiting Rome. Observes Raileanu: "We thought Amadeus bore a striking resemblance to George Washington!"
At right is one of the more interesting entries we've seen in a while. Frank and Mary Murray of Bowie stumbled across this van (with a "Sheriff's Undercover Operation in Progress" sign in its windshield) parked in a Dania Beach, Fla., lot. "There was no indication of exactly what covers the deputies were under," says the Murrays, "or why the bad guys wouldn't be expected to notice."
Both Raileanu and the Murrays receive Travel section paperweights for their discoveries. Seen an amusing sign in your travels? Read on.
