Don't get confused by the name: The District's second outpost of 18th & Yoga is actually at 12th and U streets NW. Founder Kyra Sudofsky's light-drenched loft features bamboo floors and an entrance trussed up to feel like an updated Japanese teahouse. Her specialty? Flow yoga, in which participants move fluidly from one pose to the next -- the theory being that stressed-out urban rangers need to limber up before they can really relax. In keeping with that philosophy, Zen masters aren't the only ones you'll see at the studio: Classes include kickboxing and belly dancing at the low end of the spiritual spectrum, chanting and moonlight yoga at the other, and a little ommming for everyone in between.
