Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

MINSTREL WAY, 7200 block, 12:53 a.m. Feb. 13. A group of five or six males near a fast food restaurant accosted two boys, who were then ordered to empty their pockets. The boy complied and were robbed of cash and a cell phone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALEXANDER BELL DR., 6700 block, 6:45 p.m. Feb. 8 to 8 a.m. Feb. 9. A laptop computer and a projector were stolen from a business.

CENTRE PARK DR., 8700 block, 4:45 a.m. Feb. 16. A business was entered by smashing a front glass door with a cinder block. A motion sensor inside the business was also triggered. Nothing was reported missing.

ROBIN SONG, 5900 block, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 10. An attempt was made to enter a residence by cutting two window screens and removing two additional window screens. A Volkswagen Jetta parked in the driveway was stolen.

SHAKER DR., 10000 block, noon to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9. A computer, a small fire-resistant safe, and DVDs were stolen from a residence entered by shattering a basement rear window.

SPOTTED HORSE LANE, 10600 block, 11:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered by shattering a sliding glass back door.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

COLUMBIA RD., 5700 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 13. A man entered an office area of a convenience store and was asked to leave. The man left and returned a few minutes later. He then entered the office area and urinated on himself and the floor and walked outside the store where he exposed himself while staring at a store employee. Later, a 26-year-old man was arrested.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10600 block, 1:40 to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 8. A man in a dry cleaners identified himself by a name and requested alterations of underwear. He then tried on the items requested for alteration and exposed himself to an employee.

SNOWDEN RIVER PKWY., 9000 block, 12:04 p.m. Feb. 9. A male exposed himself to a female clerk inside a business.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

EDEN BROOK DR., 7300 block, 9:20 p.m. Feb. 9. A 1990 Pontiac Bonneville was stolen and later recovered in Montgomery County. An arrest was made.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 10800 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 10 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 11. A gray 1993 Dodge Caravan was stolen.
