LAND

• Book a six-, eight- or 10-day Eurail Selectpass through STA Travel for unlimited travel in three, four or five European countries and get an extra day of travel free. For example, a three-country, six-day youth pass that starts at $267 is good for seven days. Buy by March 31 for travel up to six months in advance. Info: 800-477-8364, www.statravel.com.

• Take the kids to the French Riviera in April and get a free room at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes. Up to two children under age 12 traveling with their parents receive a complimentary adjoining room and breakfasts. Rate for the first room starts at a discounted rate of $248 per night (usual rate starts at $349). Taxes are about $1.60 per person per day. Info: 800-223-6800, www.lhw.com.

Bargain of the Week

Fly round trip from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Auckland for $800, including taxes. Air New Zealand (www.airnzdeals.com/usa) is offering the Web-only fare for April travel; buy by tomorrow. Book a separate discounted fare from Washington to Los Angeles (currently about $219 round trip on several airlines) and the total cost is about $1,019. Ticket would be about $375 more if priced as a through fare between Washington and Auckland.

• Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in India are offering an eight-night stay for the price of four, or 12 nights for the price of five. An eight-night stay at any of the seven properties is $2,000 per couple; nightly rates at the Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, for example, usually start at $475. You must stay at least one night at the Oberoi New Delhi or the Oberoi Mumbai. Taxes vary. Deal is good at most properties April 1-Sept. 30. Info: 800-6-OBEROI, www.oberoihotels.com.

SEA

• Take a seven-night repositioning cruise on the Celebrity Horizon from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Norfolk departing April 23 starting at $480 per person double plus $47 taxes. Brochure fare for the cruise starts at $750. Details: 800-647-2251, www.celebrity.com.

• Let Costa choose the itinerary and ship, and save about $300 per couple on a seven-night Caribbean cruise. The ongoing deal is for select departures of the Costa Atlantica and the Costa Mediterranea, which have alternating Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises departing Sundays from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. For example, a recent posting offered an April 3 departure for $1,018 per couple, plus about $60 in taxes; usual price is $1,318. Info: 800-GO-COSTA, www.costacruises.com.

• Book a 15-night " Discover Antarctica" cruise on the Clipper Adventurer with Expedition Trips and save 25 percent. The cruise, which sails from Santiago, Chile, on Nov. 10, is $4,740 per person double; usual fare starts at $6,320. Info: 877-412-8527, www.expeditiontrips.com.

AIR

• Air Tahiti Nui will start nonstop service between New York and Papeete, Tahiti, in July and is offering an introductory weekend deal. Fly out on Thursday and return on Sunday for $1,000 round trip, plus $135 in taxes; fare on other airlines is about $1,973. Deal is good for travel July 7-Dec. 15; Buy by June 30. • Buy a round-trip ticket on British Airways between Washington Dulles and London and receive a free two-day London Pass that normally sells for about $81. The pass offers free entry to more than 50 attractions, plus meal, tour and shopping discounts. Purchase by March 24 and travel by Oct. 26 to qualify for the pass; current sale fare, available for travel through May 1, is $471 round trip. Info: 800-AIRWAYS, www.ba.com.

PACKAGES

• Spend a week at an all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica for $649 per person double, plus $136 in taxes, with a deal from Fare Deals Ltd. The package includes round-trip air from Washington Dulles to Liberia, Costa Rica; seven nights at the beachfront Giardini de Papagayo; and transfers. Priced separately, the vacation would cost about $1,083. Depart on select Saturdays in April and May; book by March 25. Info: 800-347-7006, www.faredeals.com.

• A five-night vacation in Cape Town, South Africa, is $1,240 per person double, including round-trip airfare from New York, five nights at the Protea Hotel Sea Point, transfers and breakfasts; taxes are $220 extra. The Swain Tours package must be booked by March 31 for Monday-Thursday departures April 1-May 26. Airfare is usually about $1,515, and the hotel about $100 a night.
