Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy was to miss last night's game against the Jazz at Staples Center because of a medical emergency involving his father.
Dunleavy is expected to return from New York, where he has been since Sunday, when circumstances permit, the team said. Assistant Jim Eyen will run the team while Dunleavy is away.
Also, G Corey Maggette will miss the season's final five games because of a torn ligament in his left wrist. He led the Clippers with a career-high average of 22.2 points in 66 games this season.
PACERS CENTER OUT: Pacers C David Harrison underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday and will be out the rest of the season.
Harrison, the 29th overall draft pick last year, hurt his knee in a game against Miami on Feb. 23 and was put on the injured list March 16. He averaged 6.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 43 games, including 14 starts.
K. MARTIN FINED: Kenyon Martin of the Nuggets was fined $7,500 by the NBA for verbally abusing officials and failing to leave the court in a timely manner after his ejection against Golden State.
Martin was ejected early in the third quarter Monday night for shoving the Warriors' Adonal Foyle, drawing his second technical foul of the game. After the technical, Martin yelled at official Rodney Mott for a few seconds, then ripped off his jersey, as well as the tank top he was wearing under it, and tossed them to the crowd as he left the floor.
