Some Fetching Items

Thursday, February 24, 2005; Page C02

A dog is an easy excuse for fantastic accessories: Multiple leashes and collars (one for each season?), bone-shaped pillows, acrylic "dining tables," even hangers for doggie sweaters and scarves.

Lucy McCausland, owner of a.k.a. spot pet boutique on Wilson Boulevard in Clarendon, has invited photographer Amanda Jones to her store three times since she opened two years ago. Jones photographs dogs -- at $850 a session. "We have sold out the sessions each time she comes -- which says a lot about people and their pets," says McCausland.
