. . . been ice skating in August. No, the newsprint fumes haven't gotten to us. You really can take a cool break from the summer heat. The Fairfax Ice Arena offers open skating in the early afternoon and some evenings during the summer. So ignore your family's and friends' questioning stares as you pull out your pants and warm sweaters and head to Fairfax for an afternoon of cool bliss.
