TOMLINSON CT., 8200 block, 11:15 a.m. March 30 to 1:17 p.m. March 31. Telephones were stolen from a residence entered through a door with no sign of force.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENFIELD RD., 500 block, 1 p.m. March 27 to 7:03 a.m. March 28. A business was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

TRUCK HOUSE RD., 1-100 block, 6 p.m. March 27 to 9:55 a.m. March 28. A business was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

ASSAULTS

EDELMAR DR., 10:50 p.m. March 31. A robbery attempt occurred at knifepoint.

HILLSMERE DR., 100 block, 8:05 p.m. April 3. A man implied he had a gun and attempted to rob a video store. A man, 24, was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery.

MADISON ST., 1000 block, 6 to 6:30 a.m. April 3. A female cut a woman on the hand with a knife.

ROBBERIES

TAYLOR AVE., 1900 block, 1:36 a.m. March 30. A person was threatened with a pen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEGION AVE., 100 block, 2:50 p.m. March 31. A Panasonic car stereo was stolen from a vehicle.

LINCOLN ST., 1-100 block, 4:30 p.m. April 3. A basketball jersey was stolen from a building.

MADISON ST., 1000 block, 9 p.m. March 28 to 8:30 a.m. March 30. A cordless drill was stolen from a residence entered by removing a pane of glass from a door.

MAIN ST., 100 block, 11:44 a.m. April 3. T-shirts were shoplifted from a business and recovered.

PRINCE GEORGE ST., 100 block, noon to 5 p.m. April 1. Cash and a purse were stolen from a business.

WEST ST., 200 block, 10:30 p.m. March 31. Property was stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

NEWTOWNE DR., 700 block, April 2 to April 5. A red 2004 Kia was stolen.
