ASSAULTS

VENABLE AND SOUTH JORDAN STREETS, 5:29 p.m. April 1. Four male pedestrians harassed a male, 22, driving a vehicle, and he stopped and got out. One pedestrian jumped on him, and he broke free. As the motorist returned to his car, another male shot him in the leg, and the group fled. A friend of the motorist drove him to a hospital. He was treated and released the next day.

ROBBERIES

COLUMBUS ST. S., 200 block, 10:55 a.m. April 4. A male demanded cash from a woman, 85, and she complied.

WEST REED AVENUE AND EDISON STREET, 7:25 to 7:40 a.m. March 28. A gunman forced a woman, 18, to the ground in an alley and robbed her of a coat and a wallet. The woman suffered a scrape.

WHITING ST. S., 300 block, 2:30 a.m. April 5. A male jumped over a counter in a store, grabbed a cash register and fled with it.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BEAUREGARD ST., 1400 block, 6 p.m. March 30 to 9 a.m. March 31. A sports pavilion at an apartment complex was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

CLIFFORD AVE., 300 block, 10:40 p.m. March 31. A male entered a residence, and when a resident was about to confront him, he ran away. Nothing was reported missing.

EISENHOWER AVE., 4800 block, 1:50 to 2 a.m. April 2. Business offices in an apartment complex were entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

HOLLAND LANE, 400 block, 6:30 p.m. April 1 to 2:15 p.m. April 2. A bicycle was stolen from a storage area of a residence entered by cutting a lock.

MERTON CT., 5800 block, 7 a.m. Dec. 16 to 8:30 p.m. April 3. CDs and DVDs were stolen from an apartment.

YOAKUM PKWY., 200 block, noon Oct. 6 to 8 p.m. April 3. Credit cards were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BRANCH AVE., 3400 block, 10:30 p.m. April 5 to 8 a.m. April 6. A maroon 1992 Acura Vigor was stolen.

CAMERON STATION BLVD., 400 block, 8:30 p.m. April 1 to 9:30 a.m. April 2. A dark green 1997 Honda Accord was stolen.

EISENHOWER AVE., 4000 block, 2 to 8 p.m. April 2. A white 2004 Honda CRV was stolen.

OLD DOMINION AVE., 3800 block, 5 p.m. March 31 to 11:45 p.m. April 1. A tan 1992 Ford Taurus was stolen.

REED AVE. W., 1 to 100 block, 1 to 3:30 p.m. April 1. A green 1991 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen.

STEVENSON AVE., 6300 block, 6:30 p.m. April 5 to 9 a.m. April 6. A white 1995 Acura Integra was stolen.

TANEY AVE., 5300 block, 2:30 to 5:30 a.m. April 4. A dark green 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen.

TIMBER BRANCH PKWY., 400 block, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4. A maroon 1999 Dodge Intrepid was stolen.

WHITING ST. S., 400 block, 5 p.m. April 3 to 7 a.m. April 4. A green 1993 GMC van was stolen.

Arlington

ASSAULTS

FAIRFAX DR. N., 4200 block, 3:12 p.m. March 29. During an argument, a man cut the face and chest of a male acquaintance. A 45-year-old man was taken to a hospital and treated. A man, 44, of no fixed address, was charged with malicious wounding.

WALTER REED DR. S., 1600 block, 3 a.m. April 3. During a fight in front of a patio of a restaurant, a male was struck in the forehead, resulting in a large cut. A Falls Church man, 20, was charged with malicious wounding, possession of fraudulent identifying documents and using fraudulent identification to avoid arrest or impede a criminal investigation; a Falls Church man, 24, and two Alexandria men, 24 and 27, were charged with disorderly conduct.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

PARK DR. N., 400 block, 8:41 p.m. April 1. A man exposed himself to a woman doing laundry in the basement of her building.

ROBBERIES

CRYSTAL DR., 2100 block, 9:56 a.m. April 1. Two men robbed a bank of cash at gunpoint. After a police broadcast, a patrol officer found suspects on northbound Interstate 395, near the 14th Street bridge. Two District men, ages 20 and 60, were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in committing a felony.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRANDYWINE ST. N., 2700 block, 3 p.m. March 25 to 10 a.m. March 28. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a window.

GLEBE RD. N., 200 block, 1:07 a.m. March 29. Police investigated a report of a man trying to break into an apartment. A suspect was found, and a handgun was recovered from the scene. The vehicle the man was driving was reported stolen from Prince George's County. A District man, 19, was arrested and charged with burglary and carrying a concealed weapon.

HAYES ST. S., 1100 block, 10 to 11 p.m. April 4. Cell phones were stolen from three kiosks in a shopping mall.

TAYLOR ST. S., 1700 block, 3 to 5:30 p.m. April 4. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ABINGDON ST. S., 3000 block. A black 1997 Honda Accord was stolen.

COURTHOUSE RD. S., 1200 block. A blue 1992 Lincoln Town Car was stolen.

NASH ST. N., 1200 block. A black 1995 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4400 block. A black 1993 Acura Integra was stolen.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4100 block. A green 1992 Honda Accord was stolen.

23RD ST. S., 300 block. A silver 2003 Honda Accord was stolen.
