SEXUAL ASSAULTS
BERYL RD., 6300 block, 3 a.m. April 3. A 19-year-old woman awoke, hearing a noise at her window, and saw a man walking on the sidewalk. Five minutes later, the man attempted to open the window, then fled when she threw a pillow at the blinds.
BISMACH DR., 5600 block, 3:30 a.m. April 3. A man with a knife broke into an apartment and attempted to sexually assault a 57-year-old woman. The victim was treated at a hospital.
INDECENT EXPOSURE
SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6500 block, 4 p.m. March 31. A man told a woman that something was wrong with her car. The woman got into her car to investigate, then noticed he
was behind her, exposing himself. He fled on foot.

ASSAULTS
VISTA DR., 6000 block, midnight April 3. Several men assaulted a 31-year-old man in a parking lot with a sharp object. The men then fled on foot. The victim was treated at a hospital for cuts on his upper body.
ROBBERIES
BARRETT ROAD AND HALL COURT, 10 p.m. April 3. A pickup truck stopped in front of a vehicle in which a pizza deliveryman was sitting. Two men got out of the truck, and one opened a door of the deliveryman's vehicle and pointed a gun at him, demanding cash. The men took cash and fled in the pickup truck. No injuries were reported.

LONGLEAF LANE, 12800 block, 8:40 p.m. April 4. A man heard a noise in his house after returning home. When he called out, a man fled through a back door carrying a stereo. With assistance from Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies, Fairfax County and Herndon K9 officers found a suspect. An 18-year-old Herndon man was charged with burglary and grand larceny. The stolen property was recovered.

MAIN ST., 10500 block, 1:54 a.m. April 2. Four people got out of a vehicle and assaulted a male pedestrian, with whom they had argued at a restaurant. He was treated at a medical facility for cuts and scratches.

FAIRCHESTER DR., 10800 block, 11 p.m. March 31. A white 1995 Ford Escort was stolen after it was left at a convenience store with its engine running. The vehicle was found April 5.

FAIRFAX SQ., 3800 block, 1 to 10:10 a.m. March 31. A window of a vehicle in front of a residence was broken.
LEE HWY., 9500 block, April 2 to April 4. Two advertising signs in front of a business were damaged.
MAIN ST., 9400 block, 7 to 7:25 p.m. April 4. A male attempted to obtain food at a business without paying for it. When he was asked to leave, he kicked a door window, breaking it.

BROAD ST. W., 1000 block, 3:30 p.m. April 3. A woman attempted to obtain drugs with fraudulent prescriptions. A 32-year-old Haymarket woman was charged with fraud and false pretenses.
BROAD ST. W., 1100 block, 3:15 p.m. March 31. A cell phone was stolen from the back seat of a vehicle in a parking lot.
COLUMBIA ST. W., 100 block, 10:29 a.m. March 31. Fuel injectors were stolen from an engine of a van.
FAIRFAX ST. E., 200 block, 6 p.m. April 1 to 6:28 p.m. April 2. A stereo was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
JAMES CT., 400 block, 6 p.m. March 30 to 7:03 p.m. April 1. Two bicycles were stolen from the back porch of a residence.
OAK ST. N., 100 block, 8 a.m. March 28 to 8:24 a.m. March 31. A generator was stolen from a trailer in a parking lot.
VIRGINIA AVE. N., 100 block, 11:26 a.m. April 3. A male with a knife confronted a male employee entering the front of a business and threatened him. The employee started to
back out the door, and the man ran past
him and out a back door. No injuries were reported.
WASHINGTON ST. S., 900 block, 11:30 a.m. April 2 to 9:27 a.m. April 3. An office was entered by punching a hole in the wall next to the office door. Several desks were ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

LINCOLN AVE., 800 block, 7:30 a.m. March 30 to 8:13 a.m. March 31. Two landscape lights were pulled up, and their wires were cut.
POPLAR DR., 600 block, 10 p.m. March 29 to 3:31 p.m. March 31. Two tires of a 2002 Cadillac Escalade were slashed.

MAPLE AVE. W., 100 block, 2:20 p.m. April 2. Police were called about a shoplifter at a grocery store. A 42-year-old Aldie woman was charged with petty larceny.
