Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly Show

Butterflies fly freely in a colorful garden of nectar plants. Learn the butterfly life cycle. Observe exotic Central and South American butterflies in addition to native Maryland species. Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Potomac Hunt Races
Partnership and River roads
The steeplechase racing event, which is in its 53rd year, will be held on the Bittersweet Field at the Kiplinger estate. The proceeds benefit Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Open at 11a.m. Races scheduled from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
Taste of Wheaton
The event features foods from around the world ($1 per taste), free children's rides and musical entertainment. 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Rockville Town Center

Ride for Rockville
Take a six- or 20-mile bike ride through the neighborhoods and parks of Rockville and support bicycle and pedestrian safety programs. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Fee required.
