In Overtime, Feaster Lifts Sting Over Sun With 5 Points

Allison Feaster scored five of her 14 points in overtime, including the tiebreaking basket, to lift the Charlotte Sting to a 63-58 win over the Connecticut Sun last night in Uncasville, Conn.
Her 16-foot jumper with 1 minute 6 seconds left snapped a tie at 57 and put the Sting ahead for good.
The Sting then made 4 of 6 shots from the foul line down the stretch to secure its third straight win.
Connecticut (4-7) dropped its second straight game in overtime and is 0-4 in overtime since the franchise moved from Orlando last year.
Nykesha Sales scored all 19 of her points for the Sun in the second half.
• STORM 69, COMETS 63: Lauren Jackson scored 18 points and Betty Lennox added 13 to lead visiting Seattle past Houston, the Storm's fifth straight victory.
Sheryl Swoopes tied her career high with 33 points for Houston and surpassed 3,000 career points.
• SPARKS 76, MERCURY 74: Lisa Leslie scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Los Angeles survived two late rallies to beat Phoenix.
