In some editions Nov. 16, an article about the Fairfax Board of Supervisors was mistakenly accompanied by a photograph of Mel Riddle, principal of J.E.B. Stuart High School, and the caption misidentified him as Superintendent Jack D. Dale.
A Nov. 15 article on D.C. United incorrectly said Peter Nowak is Major League Soccer's first former player to coach a team to a championship. Frank Yallop was the first.

The Nov. 14 Travel Q&A column said travelers can fly from Dulles International Airport to Caracas, Venezuela, on United Airlines. United does not fly to Caracas. American, Continental and Delta offer connecting service from Dulles to Caracas.
A Nov. 14 Outlook article incorrectly identified Marshall Wittmann. He is no longer a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute; he is now a senior fellow at the Democratic Leadership Council.

Huntingtown High School's volleyball coach was misidentified in a Nov. 13 article appearing in the D.C. and Maryland editions of the Sports section. The coach's name is Cheryl Lord.
In a Nov. 8 article, the Business Roundtable and Humana were incorrectly described as clients of Jack Abramoff, former lobbyist for the firm of Greenberg Traurig LLP, in 2003. The firms are clients of Greenberg Traurig. The error resulted from inaccurate information on a Web site operated by the U.S. Senate that contains required disclosure reports submitted by registered lobbyists.
