Rapper Nas's concert at London's Brixton Academy was cut short Monday night when a gunman fired shots into the ceiling of the venue, according to British police. No injuries were reported from the shooting, but the Evening Standard reported several people were injured as panicked fans rushed to exit the concert. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made. . .

There will be a special one-night-only screening of Morrissey's concert film "Who Put the 'M' in Manchester?" -- shot at his homecoming/birthday show last year in the U.K. -- at 8:30 Monday at the Loews Cineplex Rio 18 in Gaithersburg. Tickets are $10 and are available at the theater. A DVD of the film hits stores Tuesday. . .

Famed Manhattan punk club CBGB, in danger of being evicted over a rental dispute, has found an ally in the New York candy store Chocolate Bar. The confectioner is introducing a $3 CBGB "Retro Bar" as well as a $25 CBGB "Punk Rock Box" -- a box of truffles that includes postage-paid petitions (to the mayor and building owners) to save the venerable club, as well as CBGB stickers and a key chain. The sweets, available in May, can be pre-ordered by calling 800-481-2462. Proceeds will benefit the club's campaign to stay open.
