National World War II Memorial Dedication

President Bush, former senator Bob Dole and NBC's Tom Brokaw are among those scheduled to speak at the formal opening of the memorial, beginning at 2 p.m. Fox News Channel begins its 3 1/2 hours of coverage at noon; CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC and the History Channel also start their coverage at 2. Locally, WUSA (Channel 9) begins its two-hour coverage at 1 p.m. with co-hosts Derek McGinty and historian Douglas Brinkley, and NewsChannel 8's Nathan Roberts anchors three hours of coverage beginning at noon.
