GREEN FIELD RD., 6300 block, 9:10 p.m. April 9. A purse containing cash, credit cards, a cell phone, a video game and game cartridges were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding back door while residents were in the basement area.

SANTA BARBARA CT., 6700 block, April 8 to 8:01 a.m. April 11. A cut saw was stolen from a construction-site trailer entered by force.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CEDAR GROVE LANE, 7500 block, 2:41 p.m. April 12. A black 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 6600 block, 5:44 a.m. April 12. A black Toyota was stolen.

Ellicott City Area

ROBBERIES

ROGERS AVENUE AND TOWN AND COUNTRY BOULEVARD, 11:33 a.m. April 8. Two juveniles assaulted and robbed a person of groceries. Two youths were later arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARROLL MILL RD., 11100 block, 5 p.m. April 10 to 8 a.m. April 11. Gasoline, gasoline cans, tools and bolt cutters were stolen from a storage shed entered by force.

MARRIOTTSVILLE RD., 2800 block, April 3 to 11 a.m. April 7. A residence was entered through a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

OAK GREEN CIR., 3000 block, 6:25 a.m. April 9. A silver 2003 Ford Taurus was stolen. A male was seen driving the car away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CLARKSVILLE PIKE, 13400 block, 4:14 a.m. April 9. A glass was broken at a business. Nothing was reported stolen.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DORSEY RUN RD., 7100 block, 7 p.m. April 3. A business was entered by cutting through the drywall of an adjacent room. Nothing was reported stolen.

GUILFORD RD., 10800 block, 9 a.m. April 9. Five laptop computers were stolen from a business entered by forcing a back door.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7500 block, 5:30 p.m. April 5 to 6 a.m. April 6. A welder was stolen from a business entered through a sliding door.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7500 block, 6:07 a.m. April 12. Property was stolen from a business garage entered through a back door.

ROUTE 1, 8600 block, 10:30 p.m. April 9 to 10 a.m. April 10. Cash, a VCR, a DVD player, cell phones and calling cards were stolen from a food store entered by smashing a front door glass.

LINCOLN DR., 8800 block, 10:45 p.m. April 10 to 1 p.m. April 11. A white 1996 Chrysler Cirrus was stolen.

SHEFFIELD CT., 8100 block, 6:34 a.m. April 11. A black Toyota Sequoia was stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9900 block, Jan. 31 to March 27. A green 1996 Ford Taurus was stolen.

West Friendship Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WELLWORTH WAY, 2600 block, March 28 to 9:11 a.m. April 11. A pressure washer was stolen from a residential garage.
