A lock of a lead dissolved because the Wizards' best players could not convert one of the easiest shots in the game. It began with a simple miss at the free throw line by Antawn Jamison with 2 minutes 6 seconds left and the Wizards clinging to a 10-point lead. And then another. Gilbert Arenas then missed 1 of 2. With less than 29 seconds left, they still had an eight-point lead. But it would be gone, too. With 25 seconds left and Chicago within 109-104, Jamison missed two more. Hinrich knocked down a three-pointer with 11 seconds left to cut it to two, sending the building into a state of emergency. Then Larry Hughes hit 1 of 2, setting up Jannero Pargo's pulsating three-pointer to tie the game. After the madness ended, the Big Three had come up awfully small at the stripe. They missed 6 of 8 free throws, letting the Bulls back in. Arenas knew what awaited when he dribbled left and won a thriller at the buzzer. "With how things were going . . . the building going crazy, us missing free throws -- they're easier at home, by the way -- I didn't like our chances in overtime as much as theirs," Arenas said .
