The District

American University

Ceremony will be held at Bender Arena, 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW.

May 22, 1 p.m., for the Washington College of Law.

Speaker: Sen. Paul S. Sarbanes (D-Md.).

Graduates: More than 565 on May 22.

Catholic University

Both ceremonies will be on the east steps of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Ave. NE.

Saturday, 10 a.m., bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

Speaker: James Towey, director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

May 28, 2 p.m., for the Columbus School of Law.

Speaker: Kathleen Abernathy, federal communications commissioner.
