"Virgin Mobile" service costs 25 cents/min. for first 10 minutes/day, then 10 cents/min. Minimum deposit of $20 expires in 90 days.
Up to $35/Month
$35: 300 anytime minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then $5/100 minutes up to 500 minutes, then 10 cents/min.
$35: 300 anytime minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then 40 cents/min.
$36 to $50
$40: 500 anytime minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then 40 cents/min.
$50: 700 anytime minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then 40 cents/min.
$50: 700 anytimes minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then $5/100 minutes up to 1,700 minutes, then 10 cents/min.
Shared Use
$70: 700 anytime minutes, unlimited night/weekend minutes, then $5/100 minutes up to 1,200 minutes, then $5/200 minutes up to 2,000 minutes, then 5 cents/min.
Plans cover two phones; others add $10 each. Can also add a second line to any "Free and Clear" plan for free, with third and any additional lines adding $10 each. Unlimited calls to other Sprint phones.
Notes
Roaming adds 50 cents/min., plus 25 cents/min. for long-distance calls. Text messaging starts at 10 cents each, or $5 for 100 messages. Picture messaging costs 1 cent/kilobyte, or $15 for bundle of Web access, 100 text messages and unlimited picture messages.
Also, fees listed above are monthly. We only list plans $50 and less (under $80 for shared-use plans) with free long distance and nationwide use. Prices include any separate caller ID and voice-mail charges and assume a one- or two-year contract.
