So much for forcing Wade to the right. Wade blew past Hughes and threw down a monster one-handed dunk to give Miami a 67-63 lead. Even the MCI Center crowd showed its appreciation by letting out a loud, "Ooohhhh." While Juan Dixon was accounting for all of Washington's points off the bench, Miami got contributions from everyone, including Doleac, Keyon Dooling and Shandon Anderson. When Miami pushed its lead to 74-65, Wade wasn't even on the floor. The Heat also did a better job of taking care of the basketball and making the most of each possession. After 10 first-half turnovers, the Heat turned it over only three times. It was hard to ignore the feeling that this was Miami's night when Dooling drove the baseline, lost his balance and tossed up an ugly shot that hit nothing but net.
