Wade started the quarter on the bench, which is the only place where the Wizards have been able to guard him. The only way Washington was going to put together a comeback win was for Arenas or Juan Dixon to start nailing three-pointers. For a while, it didn't look like it was going to happen. Dixon missed back-to-back three-pointers early in the quarter. Arenas missed a wide-open three, turned the ball over on his way to the rim, and Hughes finished a pretty move by watching his pull-up jumper bounce off the back of the rim. For Arenas, the frustration finally became too much and he earned a place on the bench after picking up his sixth foul -- plus a technical. But then magic happened. Steve Blake entered the game, Dixon hit consecutive three-pointers and the Heat started to fall apart. In the end, however, the play of the game was made by that old warrior Mourning, who slid over and blocked Hughes's attempt at a game-tying layup.
