The big ol' state of Alaska gets an exhaustive going-over this week -- History Channel style. In "Alaska: Big America," the cable network explores No. 49's history, naturally, from its discovery in 1741, and concludes with a stunning view of the state through the eyes of an Alaskan bush pilot. Thursday at 8 p.m.
