CORRECTIONS

An Associated Press file photo published with a June 1 article about courses on religious tolerance at the Air Force Academy showed a chaplain, Capt. Melinda Morton, teaching one of the classes. Morton no longer teaches the class, and last month she said she was removed from her administrative duties after complaining of religious intolerance at the academy.

A June 1 article on reaction to the confirmation that former FBI official W. Mark Felt was the Watergate source known as "Deep Throat" incorrectly said that Patrick J. Buchanan called Felt a "traitor" in an interview on MSNBC's "Hardball." Buchanan said that Felt had no personal loyalty to President Richard M. Nixon, "so I don't consider him a traitor in that sense."

A June 1 article on religious rights for prisoners and mental patients incorrectly said that the hallucinogenic cactus peyote is smoked. Users chew it or brew it for drinking.

A June 1 article incorrectly said that U.S. troops had fired a tank round into a house in which the governor of Iraq's Anbar province was found dead after a battle on Sunday. The soldiers fired an anti-tank round, according to a U.S. military spokesman.

A May 30 Sports item incorrectly said that the W.T. Woodson High School boys' soccer team lost in a Liberty District semifinal to McLean. Woodson lost its semifinal to Fairfax.

A May 29 Sports article and its headline incorrectly identified the Maryland public school boys' singles tennis champion, Jared Pinsky, as a Whitman High School student. Pinsky attends Churchill High.

A May 27 Sports article about the D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association tennis championships incorrectly said that doubles winners Derek Binsted and Chris Covington attend Theodore Roosevelt High School; they are from Wilson High. The article incorrectly identified the School Without Walls coach; he is Lester Stewart, not Lester Hayes. Also, it misspelled the first name of School Without Walls singles player Jeronimo Cabrera.
