What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

"The overriding problem is the deterioration in our quality of life due to traffic gridlock, overcrowded schools, rising real estate taxes, exploding health care costs and mismanaged growth. The entrenched political class in Richmond is not solving these problems. The business-as-usual approach is not working. To confront these issues, we need new, bold leadership with common-sense solutions to move Virginia forward. On my Web site, I identify these issues and propose specific solutions."

Why should voters elect you?

"As Warrenton mayor, I have successfully demonstrated that government can be run like a business and growth can be managed to coexist with the environment."
