What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
"Actually, there are several related ones, in which we ironically are victims of our own success. We've worked to create wealth, educate our children and build vibrant communities. But with growth and achievements have come strains: Sky-high housing costs are tearing the fabric of Fairfax. Our kids are in trailers at school, and we're falling behind in the salaries needed to attract top-flight teachers. Transportation gridlock seems to grow worse by the day. Yet at the same time, we continue to be Virginia's piggy bank, getting back only 30 cents of every dollar we export to Richmond. That must change!"
Why should voters elect you?
"As a 33-year resident, I know my district. I am an honest broker and a hard worker. I have political experience and proven public commitment."
