ANNAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Two alcohol-free family concerts to celebrate the summer holidays, sponsored by the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. Free. 410-269-1132.

July 2: Fourth of July celebration includes Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" and John Philip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever." Features guest conductor Lt. Col. John Clanton and the U.S. Army Chorus. Includes 20-minute fireworks finale. 8 p.m., Siegert Field, Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Pkwy., Arnold.

Sept. 3: "Summer's End" concert includes light classical, pop and Broadway tunes. Conducted by Annapolis Symphony Orchestra's new music director, Jose-Luis Novo. 5:30 p.m., Quiet Waters Park, 600 Quiet Waters Park Rd., Annapolis.
