DUTCH ADO. The annual Kutztown Festival, a celebration of Pennsylvania Dutch German heritage at the Kutztown Fairgrounds, runs July 2-10 with five stages, numerous storytellers and the strolling Sauerkraut Band. Witness a Mennonite "wedding," take a seminar on the local dialect and nibble some of the 1,200-pound ox roasting on a spit. Kids can get their hands on some fur at a petting zoo, and shoppers can browse or buy metalworks, stained glass, decorative hex signs and more than 2,500 quilts, with an auction of the 24 best-of-the-best quilts on July 9.
