South African Airways just began flying from Washington Dulles to Johannesburg, marking the airport's 40th international destination serviced with direct flights . . . Southwest passengers can now be dropped off curbside at the new A/B terminal at Baltimore-Washington International. They can also check in curbside or at the new ticket counters inside . . . Those traveling via Scotland's Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are advised to allow extra time to get to the airports and to check in this month, due to the G8 summit and related activities such as Live 8 . . . London Heathrow , the most popular airport to sleep in according to travel Web site http://Sleepinginairports.com , should have a new bus station by January. Construction, which started last month, will include a triple-story inflatable roof . . . All inner lanes outside the terminals at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson , which have been closed since 2004 due to new baggage screening facilities, are now open. Other on-site construction on the roadways will be finished Aug. 1.
