Now that President Bush's new Cabinet secretaries have been confirmed, they are starting to bring in key people to help them run their departments. Some have been with the secretaries during other parts of their careers, while others may have arrived via the White House or other Washington connections. They form the inner circles that advise the secretaries and carry out administration policies.
This article, the seventh in this series, is a glimpse of the inner circle at the Justice Department. Previous articles have been published about the inner circles at the Department of Health and Human Services (July 1), the State Department (June 7), the Agriculture Department (June 6), the Department of Veterans Affairs (May 31), the Department of Homeland Security (May 25) and the Education Department (May 12).
