The actor met Miller, 23, on the set of "Alfie," and they became engaged on Christmas Day in 2004. The publicity firm that represents Miller told the Associated Press she had no comment.
Gore Announces His Current Cast
Expanding former vice president Al Gore, wearing the middle-aged man's way-casual uniform -- blazer, dark shirt, no tie -- unveiled the cast of his new cable news and information network, Current, at the television critics' press tour in Beverly Hills yesterday.
"We want to be the television home page for the Internet generation," said the self-described "recovering politician," The Post's Lisa de Moraes reports.
The network, which launches Aug. 1, is aimed at 18- to 34-year-olds, a demographic group that can't relate to traditional TV news outlets because, among other reasons, their on-air talent's hair is so "old," explained Current producer-reporter Laura Ling .
Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show," on Comedy Central, on the other hand, is a great news program because it doesn't engage in the false pretense of objectivity, according to Current host-producer-reporter Gotham Chopra , son of self-help guru Deepak Chopra .
Also among the Current on-air talent is Shauntay Hinton , a former Miss USA who studied broadcast journalism at Howard University.
