The band Wayna was misidentified as Weya in a photo caption with an article about the club Avenue in today's Weekend section, which was printed in advance.

A July 21 Metro article incorrectly said that there has not been a successful giant panda birth in the United States via natural mating. There was such a birth at the San Diego Zoo in 2003.

A July 16 article incorrectly said that a dozen bystanders were killed during an Israeli rocket attack in the Gaza Strip. The bystanders were wounded.
