PLEASE DON'T GO! Summer's over, but Delaware beach towns hope music will lure you back for a few more weekends, starting with the Dewey Beach Music Conference and Festival ( Sept. 29-Oct. 2 ). The festival has seven stages with 175 bands and no cover. Also open to the public is the conference, where performers hoping to get discovered meet industry folks at panels and clinics. Halestorm (signed with Atlantic Record after last year's event) serves as the "keynote band." Cooler tunes will likely prevail at the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Autumn 2005 Festival ( Oct. 12-16 ).
