PHILLY'S FALL COLORS. Autumn in Philadelphia means more than the yellowing leaves of Fairmount Park. There's also the red, white and blue palettes of American artists like N.C. Wyeth at the USArtists American Fine Art Show (Oct. 21-23). There are the more exotic hues of the University of Pennsylvania's Treasures . . . from the Silk Road to the Sante Fe Trail, a show of 18th- to 20th-century antiques and collectibles from Asia, Africa and the Americas ( Oct. 28-30 ). Finally, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show (Nov. 10-13) offers contemporary crafts by American and German artists.

Times and venues vary. About two hours from the Beltway in Philadelphia. Treasures: $15; 215-898-9213. USArtists: $15; 800-455-8312,http://www.usartists.org. Craft: $15; 215-684-7930,http://www.pmacraftshow.org.
