New York's JFK International's all-international Terminal 1 now has WiFi coverage in all public areas. Previously only terminals 8 and 9 had the service . . . Pittsburgh International also offers free WiFi coverage in concourses A through D. Pittsburgh recently became one of the latest airports to add trace portals -- which analyzes puffs of air for explosives while the passenger stands in an enclosed space -- to its security regime . . . By early next year, Baltimore-Washington International will have an interactive memorial honoring the airport's new namesake, Justice Thurgood Marshall . . . The Rhein-Main Air Base, operated by the American military since 1945, closes this fall. The space will be used to expand nearby Frankfurt International Airport, Europe's busiest passenger airport after London Heathrow . . . Those flying through Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on US Airways will now arrive and depart in Terminal 4.
