As if relations between Michigan faithful and Ohio State partisans were not frosty enough, consider this: Ted Ginn Sr., the father of Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn, has publicly accused the Wolverines of refusing to recruit his players at Glenville (Ohio) High even though Coach Ginn's team is 8-0 and loaded with talent. "Our relationship with Michigan is dead, but [Michigan Coach] Lloyd Carr is the one who has killed it," Ginn Sr. told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "It's disgraceful." One of the reasons offered is that former Glenville standout Pierre Woods, who starred for the Wolverines at linebacker last season, is now in Carr's doghouse.
