To submit articles on speculation to The Washington Post Travel section, send manuscripts to travel@washpost.com.

Due to the volume of submissions, unsolicited manuscripts and photos cannot be acknowledged or returned.

We cannot accept pieces that result from free or sponsored trips, and we buy first publication rights only (no reprints or multiple submissions).

Please do not call or write to check on the status of a submission; if an article is considered for publication, Travel will be in contact with the author, and at that time, will discuss photos, etc.

Thanks for your interest in The Washington Post Travel Section.
