First Round: Tomorrow, Catholic vs. Lynchburg, 7:30; Virginia Wesleyan vs. Christopher Newport, 5.

Second Round: Sunday, 5.

Where: Captains Field, Newport News, Va.

Of Note: The Cardinals (18-0-2), making their first NCAA tournament appearance, hope to extend the best year in program history. A victory would earn them a meeting against once-beaten Virginia Wesleyan or sub-regional host Christopher Newport. Catholic, led by Bishop Ireton graduate Laura Kaye, lost to Lynchburg in overtime last year. The Hornets (16-3-2) won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference title last week.
