GOT MILTON?

The literati can find paradise in Milton, Del., during the 7th Annual John Milton Celebration of Poets & Poetry (Dec. 9-11). The festival honors the 17th-century English writer with a marathon recitation of "Paradise Lost," the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize awards (the winner scores a supply of microbrew), a poetry slam and a brunch with sausage and stanzas.

On Dec. 10, the town also throws the Holiday House Tour, featuring Santa-ized historic homes, and the Annual Holly Festival, for all of your stocking-stuffer needs.
