BIG TRAINS, LITTLE TRAINS.

It's the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum's annual Christmas gift for rail junkies: the Holiday Festival of Trains, in Baltimore through Dec. 30 . In addition to the museum's regular lineup of actual locomotives, rolling stock, dining car china and other train trinkets, there's an outdoor "G" scale layout and the elaborate wee railroads of the Baltimore Area NTRAK Club and the National Capital Trackers.

Go Tuesdays through Sundays and a train ride is included with admission.

Monday to Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Christmas Eve and Day. $14.

About 30 minutes from the Beltway at 901 W. Pratt St., Baltimore. 410-752-2490, http://www.borail.org.
