MARYLAND

Murder Suspects Two suspects have been arrested in the shooting death early this month of a 23-year-old man, Prince George's County police said yesterday.

On Friday, William Jerome Dolby, 28, was arrested at his home in the 1200 block of 30th Street SE in the District, police said. On Dec. 20, police said, they arrested Chelley Reco Thorne, 34, of the 2400 block of Darel Drive in District Heights. They were charged with first-degree murder.

On Dec. 9, the body of Jose Richard Escoto was found in the 2300 block of University Boulevard. Escoto was killed by a gunshot to the upper body, police said.

Fatal Stabbing A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death yesterday in Ellicott City, and his son has been arrested, Howard County police said.

Police said Jason Chen, 20, was charged in the death of his father, Yun Sen Chen, at the family home in the 4900 block of Webbed Foot Way. The son was charged with first- and second-degree murder in the stabbing, which occurred shortly before 11 a.m., police said.

THE DISTRICT

Woman Killed Police said they are seeking a Northeast Washington man in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman yesterday.

Latisha Etheridge of the 2400 block of Kirston Street in the Adelphi area was found dead in a house in the 3400 block of South Dakota Avenue NE, police said. She had been shot in the head, police said.

Police issued an arrest warrant for William E. Gales, 31, charging him with first-degree murder while armed and with domestic violence. Gales, who lived where Etheridge was found, also is wanted on a paternity support warrant, police said.

Police said they believe Gales was driving a white car with expired paper tags and a black hood cover. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said. .
