Boys

Hayfield (9-5, 5-1) at T.C. Williams (11-3, 6-0), Friday, 7:45: Hawks come in having won seven of eight and will look to avenge a 23-point loss to T.C. Williams with district lead on the line.

No. 10 O'Connell (9-4, 4-2) at No. 1 DeMatha (15-0, 7-0), Sunday, 4:30 p.m .: What has become the WCAC's best rivalry resumes. The Stags have not lost a conference game since the 2003-04 season. Keep an eye on the matchup in the back court, where O'Connell senior Jason Colenda and sophomore Jason Clark match up against DeMatha senior Nigel Munson and junior Austin Freeman.

Girls

No. 12 West Springfield (11-3, 6-0) at T.C. Williams (9-5, 6-0), today, 7:45: Visitors are four-time defending Patriot District champs; six of T.C.'s top seven scorers are freshmen or sophomores.

No. 10 Holy Cross (11-4, 5-2) at No. 15 St. John's (8-5, 3-1), today, 7: Holy Cross had four scorers in double figures and sank 24 of 28 free throws in a 64-48 win over St. John's last month.

No. 8 Forest Park (8-5, 4-0) at Hylton (8-4, 3-1), Friday, 6: AAA Cardinal District showdown. A win could redeem a season that has gotten off to a disappointing start for the Bulldogs. It would also put them in a tie for first place.
