Little Theatre of Alexandria Leads WATCH Nominations

Theater groups from Arlington County and Alexandria received 43 nominations in technical and performance categories for the 2006 WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors) awards, with the biggest share, 24, going to Little Theatre of Alexandria. The nominations were announced Sunday at the Birchmere. Twenty-five community theater companies, staging 95 productions (25 musicals and 70 plays) were judged in 2005.
